Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary:

In-Process Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor in-process production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and SOPs.
Perform inspections and audits at key stages of manufacturing.
Identify and report process deviations, non-conformances, and suggest corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and support problem-solving initiatives.
Develop and maintain quality documentation (e.g., inspection checklists, work instructions).
Analyze process data and generate reports on product quality trends.
Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process quality and efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
1 to 3 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing engineering role.
Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949 preferred).
Proficient in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams, and control plans.
Familiar with measuring instruments and statistical process control (SPC).
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems (QMS).
