Role & responsibilities Project Management Responsible for project operations on day-to-day basis and ensure that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards. Planning, scheduling and management of Solar projects, ensuring completion of assignments within time and budgetary parameters. Responsible for the construction of Solar projects as well as equipment, transmission lines, etc. Civil & Electrical Works Contract Management, Equipment Selection Erection/Installation/Commissioning Techno Commercial Operations Close coordination with end users at all stages of the project for securing approvals, finalizing specifications, reporting progress and validating project scope. Responsible for conceptual planning of projects, cost estimation, budget & cash flow, tendering & contract management, project scheduling, resource mobilization, timely completion of project & maintaining quality of work. Project Management Site & Construction Management Monitoring project status and updating the management on progress and Status of Project. Ensure design / engineering, improvement and optimization of resources Cost Management Plans for and uses resources efficiently in order to reduce project cost and minimize the delivery time, track and adjust the budget, contribute to regional budget planning. Initiate purchase order by mentioning project scope, terms & conditions after technical & commercial evaluation of the bidders. Preferred candidate profile Engineering Degree/Diploma in the Electrical/Civil. Minimum of 7-10 years experience in a Project Management Exposure in handling end to end projects encompassing planning, design, budgeting, estimation, scope definition, finalization of techno-commercial aspects and implementing quality standards. Collections Management: Monitor accounts receivable aging, contact clients via telephone, email, and mail to collect overdue payments, and manage delinquent accounts to reduce outstanding balances. Adhere to CERC and GERC guidelines Keep track of various regulatory developments in Indian power sector and update prospective & current members/clients about the relevant developments. All Correspondence with Ministry of Power/Planning Commission/Standing Committee etc. Setting up and development of power trading and renewable energy certificate (REC) businesses for the company. Liaison with all Central & State Government agencies such as CERC, NLDC, SLDCs, and SERCs on regular basis for getting open access, power scheduling, accreditation, registration & issuance of RECs. Study and analysis of national and state level policies. Analysis of state level regulations for open access, developing contacts and negotiating for inter-state and intra-state power trading through exchange and bilateral market. In-depth understanding and regular updates on the functioning of power exchanges for physical power and REC market. Responsible for handling all regulatory affairs related to power trading and REC for the company. Prepared contracts for power trading & REC after analyzing the entire legal framework involved for the company.
