Job Description – for (U.S. Accounting & Compliance) Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7–10 years of expertise in U.S. Accounting & Finance. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage, with demonstrated experience in managing compliance, corporate taxation, day-to-day financial operations, and multi-branch accounting. The role requires excellent communication, analytical abilities, and the capability to lead month-end closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and federal/state tax regulations. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting •Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations. •Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements) in accordance with U.S. GAAP. •Perform branch-wise accounting and consolidate reports across business units. •Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions. Compliance & Taxation •Ensure full compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations. •Manage corporate income tax filings, indirect taxes (sales & U.S. tax), payroll tax compliance, and support audits. •Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure proper compliance and reporting. •Maintain documentation to support tax positions and assist in responding to regulatory queries.
