As a Manager- Application Technology for Waterbased Technology at Siegwerk, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of customer technology applications, solutions, and services. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve defined business objectives in coordination with OFC team partner(s). You will collaborate closely with Technology Development and Analytical Laboratory to develop technology solutions that meet customer and market needs. Your role will also involve supporting the overall regional/BU sales strategy and objectives, along with documenting and reporting on technology portfolio developments in line with defined standards. You will engage with external technical partners, market partners, and service providers within your area of responsibility, as well as cooperate with technology counterparts within the Group. Additionally, resolving technology-related customer claims with OFC teams to provide optimized solutions for maximizing customer satisfaction will be part of your responsibilities. Continuous market and competitor observation from the technology perspective will be essential to ensure the development of competitive applications, services, and solutions that meet market and customer needs. As a qualified candidate for this role, you should hold a Technology Degree in Chemistry/Science and possess a minimum of 7-8 years of comprehensive experience in the defined ink technology environment, including R&D and application service. Small Team Management experience is preferred, along with creativity and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills are also required to efficiently communicate technical topics to colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
