As a Product Specialist (PS) at Dr. Fixit, you will be responsible for managing the Waterproofing and repair products portfolio, which includes Structural Repair & Grout products, Integral waterproofing compounds, Liquid applied membrane, Injection Grouts, and more for PAN India operations. You will have full ownership and maintenance of the entire product portfolio, overseeing product development from ideation to launch and throughout its lifecycle. Collaboration with Business units and category teams is essential to actively support the business goal of the product category. Your role will involve handling technical documentation, Product submittals, and developing demonstration modules & tools. You will be accountable for writing, revising, and ensuring online availability of updated Product Catalogues & Brochures, Technical data sheets, and Method Statements. Ensuring periodic validations and product certifications complying with applicable local and global standards by third-party certifications will be part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining related records online. Establishing back-up data and test certifications from reputed labs on the working life and ageing performance of the products to offer performance warranty periods will be crucial. You will be tasked with developing field demonstration modules for relevant products for the field marketing team and conducting benchmarking studies with top competitors to communicate product-wise Reasons to Win to the sales and specification team. Training and demonstrations will also be a key aspect of your role, involving developing content for product training, conducting product & application trainings for internal and external stakeholders, and coaching users on using appropriate tools and equipment for optimal product performance. Collaborating closely with the specification team for major specifier accounts, ensuring product approvals and specifications, and conducting technical presentations in Seminars, Webinars, and other platforms to enhance the brand value of Dr. Fixit will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work in coordination with R & D to generate innovative field tests, own field trials activities, and validate value selling concepts for new products. Following through for a minimum of three sales orders from the same customer/dealer in two different geographic locations, responding to customer complaints, conducting market surveys, and staying updated on new technologies and applications through seminars & exhibitions will also be key responsibilities.
