You will play a crucial role as a Nutritionist in our fast-growing wellness & nutrition brand dedicated to developing premium, effective, and science-backed products that cater to various health needs. Your primary responsibility will involve leading the formulation process for our upcoming product range. This will entail ensuring that the products not only meet market demands but also comply with regulatory standards and exceed consumer expectations. Collaboration with our R&D, marketing, and quality teams will be essential to create products tailored for different health goals, genders, and lifestyle needs. Your key duties will include conducting thorough research to design innovative product formulations aligned with market trends and scientific research. You will be tasked with developing and finalizing supplement compositions that prioritize taste, efficacy, and nutritional value. Additionally, you must ensure that all products adhere to FSSAI and other relevant Indian regulations. Customizing formulations for various demographic groups, genders, and specific performance requirements will also be part of your role. Effective collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers is crucial to guarantee ingredient quality and sourcing standards are met. Providing scientific justification and nutritional data to support product claims and staying abreast of industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging research will be vital aspects of your job. Moreover, working closely with the marketing team to offer nutritional insights for product packaging and promotional activities is essential. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in nutritional product formulation. A strong understanding of supplements, sports nutrition, wellness products, and dosage requirements is crucial. Experience in working with herbal, plant-based, and synthetic ingredients is preferred, as is familiarity with Indian and global supplement regulations such as FSSAI and GMP. You should possess the ability to translate scientific research into commercially viable products and demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills. Ideally, you will have prior experience in developing protein powders, vitamins, herbal blends, or wellness products, and a robust network of raw material suppliers and industry contacts. This is a full-time role that requires at least 2 years of experience in product formulation. The work location is in person.
