The role of Research & Development Manager- Seasonings at one of the leading Food and Manufacturing companies is crucial in utilizing creative abilities and research methods to enhance existing products as per industry trends and develop new products to cater to the company's target market. The ideal candidate for this role should possess an M Tech/MSc in Food Technology with 10-12 years of experience. It is essential to have a deep understanding of market trends, seasoning applications, manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment. Knowledge of the snack industry, seasoning ingredients, ingredient additives, HORECA, and QSR is also required. Familiarity with the B2C model will be an added advantage. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Regional R&D- Seasonings, the Research & Development Manager will be based in Bangalore, India, and will collaborate effectively with internal teams such as R&D, Culinary, and Sales. The primary responsibilities of the role include creating and applying products based on customer briefs, optimizing costs, raw materials, and processes, driving innovations, collaborating with marketing for new product launches, localizing global product recipes, providing technical support to the sales team, working on processing solutions with customers, and understanding processing equipment and processes in the Snack/QSR/OFS sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing application solutions tailored to user infrastructure and capabilities while ensuring a comprehensive understanding of different Snack/QSR/OFS substrate bases.
