Job Summary: B.Tech-Mechatronics-8-14 Years with Production domain only The Production Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of all production activities to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality output, while adhering to safety standards and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and company targets. Monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure timely delivery of materials. Assembly of Industrial equipment and testing of the same as per desired IS Standards. Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)/ Any test operating system. Understanding of process measurements like Pressure / Temperature / Air Flow / RH etc.. Rotary compressor assembly and testing processes hands on Exposure on oracle or SAP with hands on MS excel and Power point Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and coach a team of production employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs Resolve conflicts and address employee concerns in a timely and effective manner Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications Implement and maintain quality control procedures Investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner First pass yield improvement of assembly and Testing Collaboration with QA, Engineering, ME for product improvement ISO standards compliance Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner Implement and maintain safety procedures and protocols Conduct regular safety inspections and audits Cost Management: Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability Identify and implement cost-saving measures Prepare and manage the production budget Cost cutting drive mechanism exposure Negotiations skills Energy savings projects drive Line side consumable planning and management Capex planning Manpower optimization Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
