Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Title- Forward proxy engineer Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:- The Infrastructure Engineer must have a minimum of 5 years of Network Security and Infrastructure experience. The network engineer must have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installation, migration and decommission suite of Broadcom (erstwhile Bluecoat) devices including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC). Able to build, test and deploy proxy-based security solutions Cross-team co-ordination and collaboration to ensure end-to-end project delivery. Good understanding of network infrastructure, network security concepts and application layer protocols (http/https) and vulnerability mitigation Understanding of version and revision control practices and procedures. Proficient in use of SEIM tools for investigating purposes Expertise of networking fundamentals including Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls. Self-Starter who can take initiative and has the ability to work independently and collaboratively Organized and able to follow JPMC processes designed to minimize risk to the environment Must have strong communications skills both written and verbal Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication Strong work ethic with a results-oriented mindset Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals Flexible working hours/weekends. Flexible to work in 24x7 on-call rotation
