As a Principal Product Manager at Nutanix, you will play a crucial role in driving the initiatives related to Nutanix NCI software for external storage. Your main responsibility will be to understand, prioritize, and address the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure complete product delivery and success. The NCI Storage team is at the forefront of building next-generation NCI software to support external IP based storage. NCI, Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure, is a secure hyperconverged infrastructure that enables the delivery of applications and data at any scale, on-premises, and across various clouds. As a part of the NCI product management team, you will collaborate with diverse Product Managers specializing in cloud infrastructure, storage management, data protection, and data security products. This dynamic and growing team values accountability, collaboration, and a fast-paced work ethic. Your role will involve defining and executing the strategy and roadmap for Nutanix NCI support with IP based external storage. You will engage with customers to gather feedback and translate it into prioritized requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing detailed market requirements and product requirement documents, tracking KPIs, and managing product success metrics. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in product management or a related field, with a total of 10+ years of overall work experience. A strong familiarity with enterprise storage products and the infrastructure ecosystem is essential. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with geographically distributed teams are also key requirements. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a blend of remote work and in-person collaboration. Most roles will require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with specific guidance provided by your manager.
