Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct workshops, gather and analyze requirements, and design solutions for Discovery and CMDB implementations. Administer BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB, including configuration, scheduling infrastructure discovery, application mapping, and CMDB sync. Lead the discovery process for various operating systems, databases, networks, and storage systems. Manage the discovery of cloud services/resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Mainframe environments. Configure Outpost, Disc, and integrate third-party credential managers like CyberArk or HashiCorp. Implement discovery using REST APIs and ensure smooth data flows across environments. Configure CMDB Jobs for identification, reconciliation, and synchronization of data. Provide expertise in Start Anywhere Application Modeling and Business Applications for more efficient discovery operations. Collaborate with teams to generate discovery reports and implement discovery solutions based on client needs. Experience Requirements: 5-8 years of experience with BMC Discovery administration, Helix CMDB, and related discovery processes. Experience with cloud services discovery (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes). Proficiency in configuring Outpost, Disc, and integrating with third-party credential managers such as CyberArk or HashiCorp. Strong experience with CMDB Jobs Configuration and understanding of Identification and Reconciliation processes. Hands-on experience in configuring and managing tools like Entuity, TrueSight, and BladeLogic. Education: Any Graduation.
