Role: To validate, monitor and review the IT infrastructure and network related aspects of the projects while ensuring that it meets the requirements of the client. Responsibilities: Validate the solution and thereby review the specifications of network and hardware components proposed by the implementing agency ensuring aspects of scalability, security, performance and other relevant guidelines. Review and validate policies, procedures, and associated training plans for IT infrastructure resources administration and appropriate use. Review and validate proper asset management, capacity planning, including maintenance of server/storage/network components inventory, life cycle management and related documentation. Review and monitor service level agreements with vendors & end user departments. Engage the client and implementing partners on required actions to ensure agreed service level agreements. Review the effectiveness of servers, their associated operating systems and software. Oversee the process of administration, by the implementing agency, of software components such as user authentication systems, DevOps tools etc., Qualification: BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent in Computer Science/ Electronics/ IT from Institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE. Minimum 12 years of experience in in reputed IT organization(s) and minimum 8 years of experience managing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers/switches, firewalls, storage devices etc., Desirable Experience: Experience in Software project , implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance (preferable). Should have experience in IT industry including experience in technology consulting and solution designing of IT Infrastructure/ Networking/ System Integration/ IT Turnkey projects. Should have solution designing experience on public cloud service providers, preferably in Government Community Cloud and hybrid architecture. Good understanding of infrastructure related service levels and ability to monitor and analyze service levels. Proven experience in deployment of LAN and WAN in a large scale deployment with dispersed deployment sites. Ability to address Key Information Security Management and privacy requirements Identify risks and vulnerabilities and provide solutions to complex security- related architectural issues. Should have strong analytical and problem solving skills in making the appropriate technical decisions. Must have experience in Contract Management & Vendor Management. Good knowledge of SLA Tools and operations.( Eg. IBM or any other tools like CA, BMC, HP etc.) Certifications in Networking/Security/ Cloud Infrastructure will be preferred.
