We're reimagining India's trading infrastructure from low-latency order execution to advanced analytics, developer APIs, and institutional-grade charting tools.

Our platform powers stocks, futures, and options trading, combining reliability, performance, and innovation.

We are now expanding our infrastructure backbone and looking for an Infrastructure Architect to help design and scale systems that support millions of market events per second.

Role Overview

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will define, build, and optimise the core infrastructure for Nubra's trading systems, covering on-prem deployments, co-location environments, and hybrid cloud setups.

You'll work closely with backend, trading, and data teams to ensure high reliability, low latency, and cost-efficient scalability across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and scale on-prem + hybrid infrastructure for real-time trading systems.
• Design and implement networking, compute, storage, and observability blueprints.
• Build and standardize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with developers and SREs to design for reliability, performance, and fault tolerance.
• Lead monitoring, alerting, and incident management frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Oversee co-location data center setups and integration with market exchanges.
• Drive infrastructure security, compliance (SEBI, ISO, PCI-DSS), and audit readiness.
• Partner with engineering leadership for capacity planning, DR/HA, and cost optimization.
• Mentor SREs and DevOps engineers on architectural patterns and reliability principles.

Required Skills & Experience

• 815 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Deep expertise in Linux systems, networking, and distributed architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes (EKS/on-prem), and CI/CD tools.
• Proven experience designing or managing on-prem / co-located infra environments.
• Strong understanding of Redis, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and system reliability at scale.
• Proficiency in observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
• Solid grasp of high availability, disaster recovery, and incident response design.
• Experience working in fintech, trading, or capital markets environments preferred.
