As an Infrastructure Engineer at UBS, you will be responsible for designing and building Database Products across on-premise & Cloud platforms and running infrastructure services. Your role will involve transforming the organization into an agile one by re-imagining the way work is done, connecting with colleagues, clients, and partners, and delivering value through innovation. You will engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of Database Services, including inception, design, curation, engineering, development, deployment, and refinement for Oracle products & tools in both on-premises and cloud environments. Your responsibilities will encompass applying a broad range of engineering practices, ensuring quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions, learning new technologies, and working in an Agile model with Scrum method and SRE Principles. Working within the Hosting Services - Database Crew in Pune, India, you will focus on managed database offerings for Databases Oracle and tools in on-premises and Azure. Your expertise should include a bachelor or master's degree in Engineering with a focus on Databases Oracle products & tools, expert administration of Oracle 19c DBA, cloud experience on Azure, automation skills using YAML, BASH, Infra-as-a-Code, GIT, GitLab Runner, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible Playbook, Python modules, and azure tools like ARM and PIM. Additionally, proficiency in underlying infrastructure and Operating Systems like Unix RHEL 7/8, Solaris is required.
