As the Civil Engineering Manager at Walter P Moore, you will be responsible for managing a small team of engineers and technicians in the Pune/Bangalore office. Your primary role will involve coordinating all design work shared by project managers and engineers from the United States. Technical specialization and personal initiative are highly valued in this role. Your key responsibilities will include managing a group of engineers and technicians in the execution of land/site development projects, public roadways, drainage projects, and related tasks. This will encompass overseeing technical design, maintaining quality control standards, and managing project timelines effectively. To excel in this position, you should hold a BS or MTech in Civil Engineering and possess a minimum of 6 years of relevant project experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Familiarity with software such as InfraWorks, Navisworks, StormCAD, WaterGEMS, and EPAnet will be advantageous. Additionally, your role will require experience in managing civil/site development projects, leading civil design efforts for public works or site development projects, and demonstrating a sound technical design background. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent organizational abilities are vital. A thorough understanding of local and U.S. design codes and standards is necessary, and related local experience is preferred.
