Infra - Application deployment and support

As an experienced IT professional with expertise in application setup, environment configuration, and support, you will be joining our team in Chennai Tidel Park. Your role will involve working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery up to the UAT phase. We are seeking skilled professionals to be a part of our Infrastructure team, focusing on Application Deployment and Support with specialized knowledge in WebSphere Application Server, particularly Liberty Profile. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Linux environments and be adept at working with Oracle databases and Java applications. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and support enterprise applications on WebSphere Application Server Liberty. - Monitor application and server performance, logs, and troubleshoot issues. - Manage application lifecycle including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. - Perform system-level configurations, scripting, and application hosting on Linux servers. - Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and post-deployment support. - Maintain and support Oracle databases utilized by hosted applications. - Analyze logs and provide root cause analysis for application failures or performance bottlenecks. - Automate routine tasks using scripting languages, with Python knowledge considered a plus. - Provide on-call support and participate in production support rotation as required.
