Information Security Engineer

As a Security Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on various VAPT assignments for networks, web-based applications, and mobile applications. Your main responsibilities will include: - Performing manual penetration testing on networks, web-based, and mobile applications - Running scheduled Nessus Scans and other network scans - Producing high-quality technical reports and presentations, along with suggesting remediation for vulnerabilities - Collaborating closely with development teams to assist in fixing security vulnerabilities - Engaging with prospective clients to understand their applications and plan out assessments - Acting as a single point of contact for existing and potential clients, managing VAPT assignments - Driving information security awareness and training to promote a secure environment - Supporting and guiding the VAPT team for internal and third-party assignments - Providing guidance to junior security experts on complex projects - Supporting pre-sales and sales teams with security-related RFP questionnaires In order to succeed in this role, you should have: - Strong fundamentals in network security, application security, and cloud security - Understanding of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle and DevSecOps principles - Knowledge of the latest security vulnerabilities and experience with mobile and web VAPT assignments - Hands-on experience with tools like BurpSuite, SqlMap, Nmap, Nessus, Kali Linux, and others - Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or similar would be advantageous - Self-directed technical lead who can drive results and propose technical directions - Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to navigate challenging situations, and good analytical skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders This is a full-time position based in Noida for a duration of 6 months.
