To excel in this role, you must possess formal training or certification in Security Engineering concepts along with at least 3 years of practical experience. Hands-on experience in developing, engineering, or architecting within a public cloud environment is essential. Proficiency in Python, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code is required. Conducting security reviews of infrastructure-as-code and Kubernetes platforms, along with risk-based assessments of secure technology controls, are integral aspects of your responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with internal management, peer groups, regulators, and senior stakeholders. Additionally, having a keen desire to understand and secure public cloud technology, the ability to work in both virtual and office environments, and a knack for prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines are highly valued. Preferred qualifications include certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as an understanding of DevOps or CI/CD concepts.
