About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Informatica Developer
to join our data integration and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
Informatica PowerCenter
and
Oracle PL/SQL
, with hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting complex ETL solutions. This role will play a key part in ensuring high-quality data processing, integration, and delivery across business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and translate requirements into robust ETL solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter (v10.5.3).
- Estimate development efforts and support project planning and documentation.
- Support system and user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting issues, and implementing fixes.
- Develop Informatica-Oracle based data warehouse solutions with efficient data loading and transformation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data warehousing standards and best practices, including error handling, recovery, and reconciliation.
- Write efficient Oracle PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support ETL processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams and design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies where applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter (v10.5.3) development.
- Deep understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL concepts.
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming.
- Proven experience integrating Informatica with SAP and extracting data from SAP systems.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX Shell scripting and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with TOAD, SQL Developer, or SQL Navigator tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Understanding of OLAP and dimensional modeling concepts.
