Job Title: Informatica Developer
Location: Bangalore/Chennai Experience: 8-10 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Informatica Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with Unix and SQL queries. Exposure to Azure Cloud platforms will be considered a strong advantage.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL workflows. Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned database scripts. Work with Unix shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and job scheduling. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple data sources. Troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability. Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and QA teams. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems. Deploy and monitor ETL jobs and resolve issues in production environments. Document processes, mappings, and technical specifications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud).
Proficiency in SQL (preferably Oracle, SQL Server, or similar). Experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting. Solid understanding of ETL methodologies and data warehousing concepts. Knowledge of performance tuning in ETL processes and SQL queries. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Nice to Have: Experience with Azure Cloud services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, etc. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps). Exposure to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar).
