As an ETL Developer at TechBirds, you will be responsible for understanding requirements, designing, developing, and testing ETL architecture, transformation jobs, and workflow schedules for one of our esteemed overseas clients. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Informatica BDM/DEI (Big Data Management / Data Engineering Integration) with a focus on the Telecom (Telco) domain experience. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in Informatica BDM/DEI, you will play a vital role in designing and developing scalable ETL workflows, integrating data from structured and unstructured sources, and applying strong data warehousing concepts for efficient data modeling and transformation. Collaboration with data architects and analysts, optimization of ETL jobs for performance and reliability, and implementation of error handling mechanisms will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Skills required for this role include proficiency in Informatica BDM/DEI, ETL pipeline design and development, familiarity with Hive, Spark, and big data technologies, advanced SQL scripting and optimization, understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling, performance tuning, error handling, and integration with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. To excel in this role, you should possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English, the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, and experience in interacting with overseas clients. A proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused approach, along with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively, will be essential for success in this dynamic environment.
