Job Title: Informatica ETL Support Engineer Production Support Experience: 2 to 6 Years Location: Chennai / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Banking / Financial Services / IT Services Role: ETL Support Analyst / Informatica Support Engineer Job Description: We are seeking a highly capable Informatica ETL Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in production support, PL/SQL, shell scripting, and ETL monitoring . The ideal candidate should have a keen understanding of ETL workflows, be ready to provide L1/L2 on-call support, and ensure SLA adherence while maintaining platform stability. Key Responsibilities: Provide L1/L2 production support for Informatica ETL jobs Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data load failures, job delays, and performance Maintain ETL infrastructure perform upgrades, patches, and monitor system health Write/debug PL/SQL and UNIX shell scripts for job maintenance and process automation Work closely with development teams for L3 escalations and root cause analysis Participate in change deployments , production releases, and provide incident updates Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage SLAs Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and change management policies Mentor junior team members and contribute to documentation & process improvements Contributing Responsibilities: Use ServiceNow, Autosys, Version Control tools for ticketing, monitoring, and deployment Perform RCA, report KPIs, and recommend process improvements Attend release calls, implement changes, and document production activities Technical & Behavioral Competencies: AreaSkillsETL ToolsInformatica PowerCenter (8.x/9.x/10.x)DatabasesOracle, PL/SQLScriptingUnix/Linux Shell ScriptingSchedulingAutosys or similar job schedulerToolsServiceNow, Git, Change/Incident ManagementSoft SkillsStrong communication, documentation, problem-solvingWork Mode24x7 rotational on-call support readiness Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent 3+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica ETL support 2+ years in PLSQL and Unix scripting Familiarity with Banking / Financial Services is a plus If anyone interested please share your updated resume muthukrishnan.saminathan@kiya.ai 6269929072
