Senior Analytical Lab Chemist for Fertilizer Unit

Job description - Perform Analytic testing of fertilizer using a variety of instruments/techniques including ICP-OES, HPLC, Mass spectrometry, Nitrogen combustion analysis, oil extraction among others. Conducting experiments : Using lab equipment to perform qualitative and quantitative experiments. Analyzing results : Reporting and analyzing the results of tests Maintaining equipment : Calibrating, troubleshooting, and performing regular maintenance on lab equipment Developing products : Improving existing products or creating new ones Ensuring safety : Following laboratory health and safety guidelines, sterilizing equipment, and storing materials securely Communicating : Explaining findings and conveying technical information to other chemists or chemical engineers Writing reports : Writing technical reports of test results. Qualification: Bsc / Msc -Chemistry Graduation from accredited college or university with major course work in chemistry , biochemistry or closely related chemical science (BSc/MSc) .
