Market Data Specialist - Financial Services - Asset Management & Investment Services - 5+ Years - Pune Location Pune An exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a global analytical leader in financial services. As a Market Data Specialist , you will be responsible for index sourcing, index management, and governance of financial benchmarks while ensuring optimal vendor relationships and cost efficiency. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in indices, licensing, vendor management, and asset management data processes . Responsibilities Oversee benchmark governance and lifecycle management . Manage index sourcing, onboarding, and contract renewals . Lead vendor relationship management , including negotiation of terms and fees. Monitor licensing costs and optimize market data usage across business units. Contribute to ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives within market data. Requirements – Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in large financial services, asset management, or investment services. Proven expertise in indices, index management, and index sourcing . Strong knowledge of market data vendors and licensing processes (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MSCI, FTSE). Experience in data management frameworks and tools (FITS, InfoMatch, Optimize Spend, MDM preferred).
