As a Technical Support Engineer in the field of subsea production systems, your main responsibility will be to provide support in production planning, production optimization, and flow assurance for subsea wells and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues within the subsea production system and contribute to the development of procedures and methodologies to address identified or anticipated problems. You will act as an in-house expert on software packages such as OLGA, PVT, Well Flow, and PSS, utilizing these resources to conduct technical analyses and generate documentation that reports findings and provides guidance for management decisions. Your specific job accountabilities will include managing water and sand production in wells, evaluating and troubleshooting liquid loading and unloading issues in oil/gas wells, conducting well inflow/outflow modeling and nodal analysis, and ensuring the production flow assurance modeling and control are up to date with minimal error. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing strategies for hydrate mitigation, conducting two-phase and three-phase studies for oil & gas pipelines, optimizing production processes, and proposing adaptations for well work-over processes. You will also set and review standards and best practices for Production Technology, manage and develop subordinate employees, define and monitor key performance indicators, and prepare reports and presentations based on simulation data. To excel in this role, you should possess effective communication skills, creativity, innovation, and knowledge of simulation packages. The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including 2 years in Subsea Panel, 1 year of hands-on experience with simulation software, and 1 year of specific experience related to deepwater subsea oil and gas production. Your role will involve generating data for monthly and special reports, performing specific tasks within the parameters provided by simulations, and proposing optimization strategies to improve well productivity and reduce downtime based on key performance indicators.,
