Role & responsibilities

Carries out surveillance through regular contact with all hospital departments, particularly those providing patient care

During hospital rounds, should collect & maintain Various data related to dates and details of various Patients. Various data is then analyzed and interpreted together with the microbiologist.

Preferred candidate profile

highlight expertise in infection prevention and control practices, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience in data analysis, surveillance, and education

They should also be knowledgeable about relevant guidelines like NABH and be able to investigate and manage outbreaks.
