As an Emerging Tech Specialist at our Applied Research center, you will focus on applying scientific and technical research to solve practical problems and develop new products or processes within a specific industry or field. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, analyzing data, and developing solutions that can be implemented in real-world settings. You will define the research agenda and collaborate with academia and partners to conduct applied research. Additionally, you will be responsible for building tech playbooks that can be utilized by product and implementation teams. Your key responsibilities will involve researching emerging tech trends, the ecosystem of players, use cases, and their impact on client businesses. This will include scanning and curating startups, universities, and tech partnerships to create an innovation ecosystem. You will rapidly design and develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in emerging tech areas, sharing design specifications with team members, integrating, and testing components. Furthermore, you will contribute to thought leadership by developing showcases that demonstrate the application of emerging technologies in a business context. As part of the Applied Research Center activities, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of proof of concepts in emerging tech areas. You will also be involved in problem definition and requirements analysis, developing reusable components, and ensuring compliance with coding standards and secure coding guidelines. Your role will also include innovation consulting, where you will understand client requirements and implement solutions using emerging tech expertise. Additionally, you will be responsible for talent management, mentoring the team to acquire identified emerging tech skills, and participating in demo sessions and hackathons. You will work with startups to provide innovative solutions to client problems and enhance our offerings. In terms of technical requirements, you should have expertise in various emerging areas such as Advanced AI, New Interaction Models, Platforms and Protocols, Cybersecurity, Quantum, Autonomous Machines, and Emerging Research areas like Brain AGI and Space Semicon. You will also need advanced theoretical knowledge, experimental design expertise, data analysis skills, prototype development capabilities, and research tool proficiency. Preferred skills include experience in User Experience Design, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity Competency Management, Machine Learning, Robotics Algorithms, and X Reality (XR) technologies. Soft skills like a collaborative mindset, communication skills, problem-solving approach, intellectual curiosity, and commercial awareness will be beneficial for this role.,

The Robotics Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, and developing robotic cells efficiently and ensuring safe operation. Your main role will involve executing robotic projects from the initial stages to installation and commissioning on site. Key Responsibilities include: - Managing projects by defining and validating system architecture, making decisions on control engineering and technical options, and specifying technical specifications of hardware components. - Executing complete projects from the factory to installation and commissioning on site. - Analyzing system layouts and descriptions with a focus on control engineering standards and special parts. - Developing robot logic and testing PLC and robot programs according to the protocol system on simulation. - Participating in acceptance testing and handing over test results to the Project Manager for final acceptance. - Engaging in customer communication during DAP and commissioning to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. - Participating in the service and maintenance of robots on site. - Following quality systems including quality plans, checklists, methods, and standards such as CE. - Holding certifications in Automation courses and Industrial robot courses. Qualifications & Experience: - 1-2 years of experience in Robotics & automation. - Graduation or post-graduation in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, or Mechatronics. Competencies required: - Proficiency in Siemens (S7-300, S7-1200, & S7-1500) and Rockwell automation systems. - Ability to program in multiple languages including ladder logic, FBD, SCL & STL. - Reading and interpreting PLC wiring diagrams and Control Narratives. - Expertise in Industrial robots (Yaskawa, Fuji, ABB, Fanuc, KUKA) and programming, installation & commissioning on site. - Reading and interpreting control panel electrical wiring diagrams. - Systems Thinking, programming mindset, active learning, mathematics, science, or other Applied Mathematics, Technology Design. - Good communication skills, problem-solving approach, self-management, playing to win, walking the talk, and being result-driven.,

Role & responsibilities Hands on experience on Kawasaki & ABB robots. Other robots will be beneficial. Spot welding, material handling, sealing, roller hemming applications Robot I/O setup DeviceNet, Ethernet, Profinet network protocol setup. Electrical, robot & control panel basic troubleshooting Write and modify robot programs according to customer standards. Simulate robot systems using OEM specific software (i.e. ABB Robot studio). Commission and integrate robots in cell/line. Support customers and resolve issues in the field. Configure Robot Controller. Simulate (RCS) in the OEM simulation software. Develop complete robot programs. Verify the feasibility of solutions and processes. Find and solve issues before the manufacturing phase. Validate cycle time. Optimize robot programs and find solutions to reduce cycle time. Develop robot programs using teach pendant. Download a complete OLP. Validate the cycle feasibility defined in the cycle diagrams. Optimize weld distribution to improve the cycle time. Generate robot safety configurations. Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomics regulations. Support Virtual Commissioning team during debug phase. Customer support and specification analysis. Develop technical documentation. Interface with Design and Simulation teams to communicate and create solutions. Manage Industrial processes and robotic application for automation projects. Ability to explain complex technical information to a non-technical audience. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
