You should have a minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within the textile manufacturing sector. Your primary role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the electrical systems and equipment utilized in our production processes. Your responsibilities will include performing preventive and breakdown maintenance on various textile machinery such as Rotor spinning, knitting, weaving, dyeing, and processing. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot and repair electrical panels, drives (VFDs), PLC systems, motors, sensors, and control circuits. Ensuring minimal machine downtime through efficient fault resolution, conducting routine inspections for safety compliance, maintaining lighting systems, generators, compressors, HVAC units, and coordinating with mechanical and production teams will also be part of your duties. Supporting energy-saving projects, managing spare parts inventory, and adhering to safety protocols are crucial aspects of this role. To excel in this position, you must possess a strong knowledge of textile machine electrical systems, proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, experience with VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, contactors, relays, and sensors. Familiarity with electrical safety standards, industrial practices, and a basic understanding of mechanical systems would be advantageous. Effective team coordination and problem-solving skills are also essential.
