JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Maintenance Executive LEVEL & GRADE: B-1, Executive DIVISION/ DEPARTMENT: Vehicle and Equipment REPORTS TO: Dy. General Manager Vehicle and Equipment 1. JOB PURPOSE (Provide an overview of the job, its context in the organization and the contribution that it makes) The Vehicle & Equipment division is responsible for maintaining & make available all the equipment & critical vehicles such as CFT’s, ASFT, Rubber removal machine, cleaning equipment, lifting equipment’s, Inspection vehicles, Marking machines etc. The employee has good experience of onsite maintenance, and inspections of the same. Airfield maintenance and operation equipment & vehicles are technically sophisticated systems and are with large capital investment. While handling 24x7 shifts, high technical expertise is one of the major managements needs to ensure an effective serviceable system. 2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (List the responsibilities/ duties associated with the job and the major activities associated with each responsibility. For each responsibility/ duty listed, give the factors on which an individual’s performance is judged) Accountabilities Major Activities Accountabilities Major Activities Preventive Maintenance Ensure un-serviceability of the Critical Equipment like CFTs, MRS, Swing, ASFT, Track Jet and ACE crane (ongoing), Brake down assistance for all equipment. (Ongoing) Timely reporting of requirement of spares Workshop Maintenance Upkeep of Work area, Work benches, Maintenance of Toolbox tools, Other Workshop equipment Handling the shifts Independently Safe operations of All equipment Special attention to the safety of user/ operation/maintenance staff. Zero accidents. Development of in-house skills, self-training Self-sufficiency in maintenance by internal resources like welding, drilling and usage of special tools and equipment, attending all assigned in house and External Training. (ongoing) Training Training to the contract drivers and operators Effective E-Mail Communication Skills. Effective communications in English Customer satisfaction Satisfied customers (internal and external) 3. JOB SPECIFICATION 3.1. Education qualification and certifications (Indicate the level of education and certifications required) ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Motor mechanic 3.2. Years of Experience ( Years of relevant experience required) 12plus years’ experience in ITI and 7 years in Diploma 3.3. Computer skills (Indicate the required knowledge on software, applications, hardware etc., that are required) Knows to work on MS office tools and SAP PM module. 3.4. Knowledge and work skills [Indicate what knowledge (machines, equipment, processes, systems etc.,) and work skills are required] Excellent Driving Skills in Light, Heavy And Construction Equipments, excellent skills in fault finding and fault diagnosis.
