Industrial Design Engineer

You will collaborate with clients to understand their product/machine design and manufacturing requirements. Your responsibilities will include designing the aesthetics and functionality of components and entire products. You will present designs to clients/internal teams for feedback and potential modifications. Negotiating and agreeing upon contracts, budgets, and timelines will also be part of your role. Utilizing CAD and CAM systems, you will design and visualize projects. Testing product designs through models, prototypes, and specialized computer software is essential. You will research suitable materials and production processes, creating sketches and sample designs in the process. Identifying new systems and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost savings will be expected. Conducting complex calculations and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, vendors, and suppliers involved in projects are crucial aspects of the role. Effective planning to ensure project delivery within set timelines, standards, and budgets is key. Requirements for this position include a background in Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Robotics engineering, with a strong emphasis on Product/Industrial Design. You should have 2-4 years of experience as an Industrial Design Engineer. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills in English are necessary, along with good sketching and concept generation abilities. An understanding of complex mathematical relationships, mechanical analysis, manufacturing processes, and product knowledge is required. Familiarity with various plastic fabricating processes and lean tools to aid in developing new processes, layouts, and flow is advantageous. Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as CATIA, Catia V5R19, Creo, AutoCAD, and knowledge in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, and Product design are beneficial for this role.,
