Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities of refractory products and services, generating leads, managing accounts, and maintaining effective communication with clients. The role requires a proactive approach to developing relationships with potential and existing clients and ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales planning in assigned territories or industries. 2. Identify and approach potential customers in sectors such as steel, cement, glass, petrochemical, and non-ferrous metals. 3. Provide technical consultation to clients, including product selection, application guidance, and troubleshooting. 4. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. 5. Negotiate contracts and close sales in coordination with the technical and commercial teams. 6. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. 7. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments. 8. Collaborate with the technical and R&D teams to develop customized refractory solutions. 9. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline in the CRM system. 10. Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as required. Qualifications & Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (preferred). 2. Proven experience (2–5 years) in industrial or B2B sales, preferably in refractory or allied industries. 3. Strong knowledge of refractory products, installation methods, and industrial processes. 4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 5. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. 6.
