Role Overview We’re looking for a proactive, polished communicator to convert customers who have signed up but haven’t started transacting . Your role will be to engage with customers in the pending and approved but not transacting stages of onboarding, address their queries, and guide them to make their first investment. What You’ll Do Call, email, and WhatsApp customers to encourage and assist them in completing their first transaction. Identify friction points in the onboarding process and resolve them with empathy and clarity. Use persuasive, value-driven communication to highlight the benefits of starting immediately. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and outcomes. Share customer feedback with the product and operations teams to improve conversion rates. What We’re Looking For Excellent English communication skills - clear, confident, and polished. Prior experience in call centres, inside sales, or customer conversion roles (financial services experience is a plus). A flair for sales - you know how to build trust and close deals without being pushy. Comfort using CRM tools, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms. TL;DR: Indus is opening India’s markets to the world for the first time. We’ve built something people want, we’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a design-minded frontend engineer to take our product experience to the next level. About Indus We’re the first platform that allows anyone outside India to invest directly into Indian mutual funds. The process is simple and accessible - no need for an Indian bank account or the complex, slow onboarding that has always been the barrier. We launched in January 2025 and have already onboarded more than 5,000 users. Backed by NZFF, Booster, and Angel HQ, we’ve secured regulatory approvals in New Zealand and India, and we’re launching in Australia in the next two months. What you’ll be working on You’ll take ownership of the user experience across Indus. Our customers are global, so the product needs to feel easy and intuitive for someone making their first investment and powerful for someone managing significant amounts. Your work will include: Designing and building clean, intuitive flows in Flutter (mobile) and VueJS (web) Turning complex investment processes into experiences that feel effortless Prototyping and testing new features with users, then refining for launch Creating and maintaining a scalable design system for future growth You’ll work closely with Jai (CEO), Vivek (CMO), and our engineering team from concept through to deployment. Stack Frontend: Flutter, VueJS Backend: NestJS + TypeScript, PostgreSQL Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, EKS, Kinesis, S3, CloudFront, Terraform) Who we’re looking for At least 3 years of experience in frontend or full-stack engineering A strong portfolio of shipped UI/UX work Comfortable taking a feature from wireframe through to production-ready Strong design sense including typography, spacing, motion, and interaction patterns Bonus: fintech experience, Flutter/VueJS experience, or both The opportunity We’re still early.
