Job Description

Indirect Tax Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual
GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
Reconcile GSTR 2A/2B with purchase records and coordinate with vendors for mismatches
Handle
Input Tax Credit (ITC)
calculations and utilization
Manage and record daily accounting transactions in Tally or other ERP software
Maintain records of
sales, purchases, and expenses
with proper documentation
Coordinate with CA/auditor for tax audits and assessments
Generate reports for internal use P&L, balance sheet, TDS summaries, etc.
Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, and professional tax
Liaise with vendors, customers, and government authorities regarding tax queries

Qualifications & Skills:

B.Com/M.Com or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on
GST filing and reconciliation
Proficient in
Tally ERP, Excel
, and basic MS Office tools
Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws, ITC rules, and deadlines
Good communication and documentation skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred:

Experience in a manufacturing or product-based company
Experience coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants
