Position: Production Engineer / Shift Incharge Location: Jodhpur, Rajasthan Salary Range: 25,000 to 50,000 per month (depending on experience and capability) Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring smooth production of solvent-based paints. Monitor shift activities and allocate manpower effectively. Ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety protocols. Troubleshoot process-related issues and coordinate with maintenance teams. Maintain production records, shift reports, and inventory updates. Implement process improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines . Support plant commissioning and trial runs during start-up phase. Perform quality control tests on water-based or solvent-based decorative paints and wood coatings to ensure compliance with product specifications. Inspect raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to maintain quality standards . Conduct application and performance testing of paints and coatings, such as adhesion, viscosity, gloss, and durability tests. Monitor the production process and provide technical support to production teams to ensure consistent product quality . Identify and resolve quality issues during the production process and ensure corrective actions are taken. Assist in the formulation validation process to ensure the quality of new or modified products. Maintain accurate records of QC tests, results, and non-conformance reports. Coordinate with the R&D and production teams to continuously improve quality control procedures.
