Perform and record neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEG (Electroencephalogram), EMG (Electromyography), NCV (Nerve Conduction Velocity), VEP (Visual Evoked Potential), BERA (Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry), and other related tests. Operate, calibrate, and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment and software. Ensure all neurodiagnostic equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly. Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, patient information, and procedural notes. Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals in interpreting test results. Maintain accurate records and ensure timely documentation of test findings. Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives. Experience of working with medical equipment and basic neuroscience understanding. Proficient in data analysis softwares. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: Design, optimize, and validate Nanopore-specific protocols (e.g., PCR, library prep). Prepare high-quality samples and construct libraries for MinION/GridION . Operate and troubleshoot Nanopore flow cells , thermal cyclers, and auxiliary tools (e.g., VolTRAX). Analyze raw Nanopore data (squiggles, basecalling) and perform long-read bioinformatics . Collaborate on assay development and bioinformatics pipeline optimization . Develop scalable long-read workflows (e.g., adaptive sampling, multiplexing). Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field . Hands-on experience with PCR, qPCR, and Nanopore sequencing (MinION/GridION). Expertise in Nanopore library prep (ligation/transposase workflows) and assay optimization. Strong analytical skills for long-read QC (pore occupancy, read length). Proven ability to troubleshoot Nanopore-specific issues (flow cell performance, adapter efficiency). Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
