Job Description

Key Responsibilities of Indian Cook (Commi-II)

  • Assist in preparing Indian dishes such as curries, gravies, tandoor items, rice, dal, and snacks.
  • Handle basic cooking tasks like chopping, grinding, sautéing, boiling, and tempering (tadka).
  • Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation of Indian dishes.
  • Prepare masalas, pastes, and mixes as per standard recipes.
  • Ensure proper marination and preparation of tandoori and North/South Indian items (as applicable).
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstation as per food safety standards.
  • Store ingredients properly and follow FIFO for all raw materials and spices.
  • Assist the senior cooks during peak hours and service time.
  • Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
  • Ensure minimal wastage and efficient use of spices, oil, and ingredients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
