Solar Analyst: As a Solar Analyst at ICF, you will play a crucial role in enabling the development and investment in energy infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include engaging with clients to tackle challenges related to the development, design, construction, operation, and analysis of renewable energy projects. You will be part of a dedicated team of industry experts, working within the Technical Advisory group to deliver high-value technical diligence support and offer solutions for technical and commercial challenges faced by clients. Key Responsibilities: - Perform due diligence reviews of engineering documents, construction quality documentation, commercial agreements, and operational reports related to energy assets using your design, construction, or operations and maintenance experience. - Conduct due diligence, desktop reviews, and develop construction monitoring reports for energy and infrastructure assets. - Support solar technology diligence efforts and provide technical input to multi-disciplinary project teams. - Work collaboratively within a close-knit team environment with diverse technical abilities and knowledge levels. - Ensure timely completion of project work and deliverables within the agreed-upon time and budget. - Stay updated on market activities and industry trends to provide valuable insights. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field. - 2 years of experience in the energy industry, including consulting and project financing due diligence. - Understanding of solar asset operation and maintenance, performance evaluation, and reliability assessment. - Experience in Independent Engineering (IE)/Owner's Engineering (OE). Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous experience in project financing due diligence. - Knowledge of factors influencing solar energy generation estimates. - Desire for professional development and ability to manage project and client relationships. - Proficiency in data analysis or computer programming. - Familiarity with key commercial contracts essential for project development such as interconnection, off-take, equipment supply, construction, and operations and maintenance. - Flexibility to work collaboratively in project teams or independently as required. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Technical Advisory provides comprehensive energy industry advisory services supporting strategic investments, portfolio management, operational planning, market developments, policy analyses, regulatory support, and customer engagement. Consultants at ICF integrate their industry experience with advanced consulting and analytical skills.
