It will be your duty to enhance the team's capabilities through regular training sessions and aiding in the recruitment process. As a technical lead, you will oversee projects, ensuring both organizational and project quality deliverables are met. Your role will involve collaborating with the central organization to define workload priorities and allocate tasks to the local team accordingly. Additionally, you will supervise and mentor graduate engineers & Naval Architects. Proficiency in software such as NAPA, FORAN, or Maxsurf is advantageous. Your technical responsibilities will include deriving vessel compartmentation for integrity and stability, conducting naval architectural calculations, and preparing intact and damage stability booklets for various vessels. Experience in Probabilistic Damage Stability Calculations is essential. You will estimate lightship weight, manage weight control during design development, and create statutory documents like capacity plans and tonnage plans. Liaising with class for booklet approval and providing technical support for software development activities will also be part of your role.
