You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 5 to 10 Naval Architects/Engineers. Your role will involve building the capability of the team through regular training and supporting the recruitment process. As a technical lead, you will oversee projects to ensure delivery to organizational and project quality requirements. It will be essential to interact with the Central organization to define workload priorities and allocate work to the local team accordingly. Additionally, you will supervise and provide guidance to graduate engineers and Naval Architects. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of software such as NAPA, FORAN, or Maxsurf. Your technical responsibilities will include deriving compartmentation of vessels for integrity and stability, performing naval architectural calculations, and preparing intact and damage stability booklets for various vessels. Experience in Probabilistic Damage Stability Calculations is required. You will also be responsible for estimating lightship weight, weight control during design development, and preparing statutory documents like capacity plans, tonnage plans, and sounding tables. Liaising with class for booklet approval and providing technical support for software development activities are also part of the role. Additionally, you will support the stability team in reviewing stability booklets and inclining experiment reports, as well as conducting inclining experiments. To be considered for this position, you must hold a B.E/B.Tech or MTech degree in Naval Architecture.,
