Job Description

As an Incident Response and BISO Support at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Degree in information systems or computer science or any equivalent. - Understanding of security principles, data protection, and regulatory requirements. - Ability to identify, prioritize, and guide mitigation of cybersecurity threats. - Lead Identity and Access Management assurance and related initiatives. - Enforce secure baselines and remediate cybersecurity configuration deviations. - Coordinate, investigate, and review cyber incidents. - Effectively communicate cybersecurity findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Desirable skillsets/good to have: - Ability to work effectively with technology teams to resolve high-impact security exceptions or blockers. - Assess processes end-to-end to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities aligned with the bank's strategy. - Effective Stakeholder Management skills. This role is based out of Pune. In this position, you will provide a primary liaison service between the business, technology, and security functions. Your key accountabilities will include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand security requirements in business processes and IT projects. - Executing risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential cybersecurity threats. - Developing and implementing security policies and procedures for the bank's operations. - Managing the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across the bank's IT systems. - Conducting training sessions to educate employees and enhance cybersecurity awareness. - Managing complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts. - Identifying emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and new technologies to address potential risks. As an Assistant Vice President, you are expected to advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions. If the position has leadership responsibilities, you will lead a team performing complex tasks and set objectives while coaching employees to achieve them. You will also be responsible for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
