We are currently seeking a Chess Coach / Trainer to oversee gameplay and deliver training sessions to children participating in our chess classes. While prior knowledge of the subjects is beneficial, we offer comprehensive training to ensure you are well-prepared for the role. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Motivating students to learn and enhance their chess skills - Supervising, playing, and training children during weekday chess sessions (excluding Mondays) - Promoting activities that align with the academy's objectives To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess the following competencies: - Proficiency in chess rules and gameplay - Previous experience as a coach or active participant in chess - High school diploma or equivalent qualification - Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the community - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written This is a full-time role that offers various benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, commuter assistance, paid sick leave, and work-from-home opportunities.
