The Team CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt. position within the Commercial and Supply Chain department of CSM Agchem in Udaipur is an Executive level role reporting to the Head CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt. The primary responsibility of this role is to handle the sourcing of new chemicals, obtaining price quotes, providing costings for key raw materials, and initiating procurement strategies and purchase schedules. Strategic Responsibilities: - Execute sourcing methodology using different tools to ensure speedy availability of price ideas for costing of new projects. - Develop vendors for timely procurement, engage in techno-commercial negotiations. - Implement vendor identification management and establish vendor qualification. - Ensure compliance with best practices in supplier quality and vendor development. Operational Responsibilities: - Ensure timely availability of key raw material prices and update the database regularly. - Inquire for new raw materials globally to identify potential suppliers with capacity and capability. - Utilize modern sourcing tools and information. - Retrieve Import/Export data and prepare price trends. - Procure lab chemicals and accessories at the best price and fastest delivery. - Maintain ARC/AMC of service providers. - Document for ISO systems/NABL and GLP compliances. - Identify non-moving items and NPA in consultation with R&D and Quality Control department. Vendor Development: - Identify vendors for new materials. - Conduct market scanning of potential vendors. - Float inquiries, receive quotes, and prepare comparisons. - Conduct rate negotiations and shortlist vendors. Supplier Relationship Management: - Support supplier performance evaluation. - Support supplier risk assessment. - Identify supplier development initiatives. - Implement initiatives as per the annual action plan. People Responsibilities: - Inform and discuss all sourcing matters with the reporting Manager. - Ensure smooth departmental operations and maintain cordial relations with peers. - Attend on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge. Education Qualification: - B.Sc./MSc in Chemistry; B.E. in Chemical Engineering. - PG - MBA/PGDM Graduate in Materials Management/Supply Chain. Work Experience: - 2-3 years of experience in Sourcing/Procurement. Industry Experience: - CRAMS/PHARMA/AGRO/Chemical Industry. Functional Competencies: - Knowledge of SAP. - Analytical Skills. - Import procedures and documentation. Interaction Complexity and Team Work: Internal Interaction: - Head CSM AgChem RM Sourcing & Vendor Devt. - Daily interaction providing updates and ensuring goods delivery as per the agreed plan.,
