Role & responsibilities Manage daily operation activities (Order and customer management) and work procedures. Provide quotations as requested by a direct inquiry from customers. Efficiently handle customers complaints & requirements and recommend corrective action plans. Overseeing operations related with custom clearance, freight forwarding and negotiations Interacting and monitoring custom clearance, Shipping Line and Overseas Agent. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree/Post graduate diploma/MBA At least 5 years of experience in forwarding operation and 2 years in supervisory position. Result oriented, pro-active and possess a positive work attitude. Preferably Supervisor or Senior Executive specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent. Knowledge of Customs/ Shipping line / Airlines. Knowledge of Air / Ocean Freight & Contract Logistics will be a definite advantage. Knowledge of sales. Understand diversity and working with different cultures. Able to handle staff and handle branch Independent. Able to work in an agile in a fast-paced working environment. Must be a strong teamplayer, hardworking, work on demand & hand-on. Qualification: - Bachelors degree/Post graduate diploma/MBA. Role: - Assistant Manager/ Operation . Job Title : Assistant Manager/Manager Supply Chain & Procurement Experience : 7+ Years Location : Noida Department : Supply Chain / Procurement / Imports Key Responsibilities : Import & Export Operations : Handle end-to-end import operations , including coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHAs, and banks. Ensure complete compliance with DGFT , Customs , and Shipping Line documentation and regulations. Monitor and manage entries in IDPMS (Import Data Processing and Monitoring System) . Ensure proper RFID tagging for container movement and integration with warehouse systems. Manage VGM (Verified Gross Mass) filing as per SOLAS requirements. Ensure timely submission and tracking of BRC (Bank Realisation Certificate) for export and import transactions. Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up for timely order fulfillment. Maintain supplier database and evaluate vendor performance regularly. Ensure alignment of procurement activities with company budgets and lead time targets. Coordination & Compliance : Liaise with finance and accounts for advance payments, LC handling, and forex-related documentation. Coordinate with plant/warehouse for delivery planning and stock availability. Ensure procurement and import operations are in full compliance with company policies and statutory guidelines (DGFT, GST, FEMA, etc.). Maintain SOPs and suggest improvements for cost efficiency and process optimization. Required Skills & Competencies : Sound knowledge of Import/Export documentation , Customs clearance , and International logistics . Expertise in IDPMS , RFID , VGM , BRC , and DGFT processes. Strong experience in Procurement , Negotiation , and Vendor Development . Proficiency in preparing and analyzing MIS Reports . Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Educational Qualification : Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain Management , International Business , Logistics , or Commerce . Certification in SCM , Procurement , or Export-Import Management preferred.
