Role & responsibilities Ensure compliance with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations, including product registration, licensing, and approvals. Manage regulatory documentation and ensure timely submission of applications to government authorities. Handle import-related regulatory approvals , including customs clearance, BIS, and other certifications. Liaise with regulatory agencies, government bodies, and consultants to stay updated on regulatory changes and compliance requirements. Review product labels and packaging to ensure compliance with Legal Metrology Act , FSSAI guidelines, and other relevant laws. Prepare and maintain regulatory dossiers and technical documents for product submissions. Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Legal, and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory compliance across operations. Conduct internal audits and regulatory risk assessments. Handle queries, inspections, and compliance audits from regulatory authorities. Ensure timely renewal of licenses and certifications . Preferred candidate profile Bachelors/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field . Experience in Regulatory Affairs, FSSAI compliance, and Import Regulations . Strong knowledge of Indian Food Laws, Import Regulations, Legal Metrology, and Customs Procedures . Familiarity with BIS, Legal Metrology, and other allied regulations . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and regulatory documentation tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Perks and benefits
