This is a remote role to start, with a requirement to work from our office in the near future. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, a professional attitude, and has knowledge in Airfreight Responsibilities Place and manage airfreight bookings with airlines Liaise with airlines by phone and email to coordinate shipments Complete customs declarations accurately and on time Work closely with our offshore international team to ensure smooth operations Communicate with international customers and partners in a clear, professional manner Follow established procedures and meet deadlines Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams for day-to-day tasks Review and interpret invoices and airwaybills (a bonus) Preferred candidate profile Fluent in English Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with international partners and completing documentation accurately. Team-Oriented Experience working in collaborative, team-based environments, ideally with exposure to international or offshore teams. Detail-Oriented & Organized Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and documentation without errors. Professional Communication Comfortable communicating with airlines, customers, and partners in a clear and respectful manner. Tech-Savvy Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams for daily administrative and operational tasks. Logistics Knowledge (Preferred) Prior exposure to logistics, airfreight, or freight forwarding processes is a plus, but not required. Basic Documentation Skills Understanding of invoices and airwaybills is beneficial. Adaptable & Willing to Learn Open to receiving training and following established processes and procedures. Future Office Availability Comfortable starting remotely but open to transitioning to in-office work in the near future. Training Provided Full training will be provided for booking systems and customs processes Interview Process Round 1: Introductory & Background Interview Conducted via: Video call. Assesses: Spoken English, professionalism, background, and job fit. Round 2: English & Communication Assessment Conducted via: Video call and written task. Assesses: Written and verbal communication, clarity, and scenario-based responses. Round 3: Aptitude & Math Test Conducted via: Online test or live virtual session. Assesses: Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Round 4: Practical & Culture Fit Evaluation Conducted via: Video or in-person interview. Assesses: Understanding of operational tasks, attention to detail, and team fit. Requirement: Candidates must have their own computer with a working camera and stable internet for interviews and remote work. A company device will be provided upon successful completion of the probation period.
