KEY RESPONSIBILITIES For Import Documentation Receive the data of freight and cargo manifest from the load port. Perform data quality checks and edit data as per local requirements. Prepare Import IGM/IAL and submit before vessel arrival as per the deadline. Ensure all compliances are met before submitting IGM. Send arrival notice to customers before vessel arrival; also inform the same to ICD location. Submit SMTP file to terminal and surveyor for arranging rail movement. Send loaded and empty containers enblock movement to CFS before vessel arrival. Follow up with the CFS and empty park on the above enblock movement within the stipulated time frame. Check the B/L data with the manifest and ensure correct endorsements. Apart from the above duties, perform any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time. KEY RESULT AREAS Ensure B/L drafts are sent within 3 hours of receipt of shipping instructions. Ensure draft corrections are amended and revised drafts sent within 1 hour of receipt of corrections. Manifest to be finalized within 48 hours of vessel sailing. Ensure a minimum of 98% of shipping instructions are processed through the portal. YELLOW LINE Checklists and Monitoring Mechanism for Supervision & Control Bills of Lading not released for containers picked up for stuffing.
