As a Strategic Sourcing and Purchase Management professional at Alchemy Medicine, you will be responsible for handling all input materials procurement, including raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering goods. You will work closely with various departments such as finance and production to ensure that the organization's needs are met effectively. Your key responsibilities will include managing import operations while ensuring compliance with customs duty, laws, notifications, tariffs, and guidelines. You should have proven experience in procuring finished formulations within the pharmaceutical industry and exposure to import purchases. Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value and favorable supply agreements will be a crucial part of your role. In addition, you will be expected to identify and develop new vendors for raw materials and packaging materials, as well as new sources for materials. Sourcing of finished goods and handling third-party and loan licenses sites will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have knowledge of import clearances for both sea and air consignments. Your ability to efficiently manage multiple procurement tasks while maintaining detailed records will be essential for success in this position.
