As a School Nurse at Hustlr Staffing Services, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the health and well-being of students at our client's educational institution. You will be tasked with conducting health assessments and screenings, providing immediate first aid and emergency care, administering medications, and developing individualized health care plans. Collaboration with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers will be key in delivering effective healthcare services to students. In addition to hands-on patient care, you will be expected to manage and maintain accurate student health records, monitor immunization compliance, and participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the school. Your role will also involve addressing and managing chronic health conditions in students, responding to health-related emergencies, and advocating for student health and well-being within the school community. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualification, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field preferred. Experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting, current CPR and First Aid certification, and a strong knowledge of health and safety regulations are essential requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and effective organizational and time management skills are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.
