As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls promptly, whether by ambulance or other means, to assess the situation. Your primary duties will include conducting a rapid patient assessment to identify life-threatening conditions and prioritize interventions. You will be required to perform basic life support techniques such as CPR, airway management, and oxygen administration as needed. In addition, your role will involve providing wound care by cleaning and dressing wounds, as well as controlling bleeding with appropriate techniques. You will also be responsible for immobilizing fractures and injuries by applying splints and other devices. Administering certain medications according to protocols and medical orders will also be part of your responsibilities. Safely transporting patients to the most appropriate healthcare facility and providing ongoing monitoring and care during transport will be crucial. You will need to maintain clear communication with dispatchers, medical control, and hospital staff regarding patient status and treatment plans. Accurately documenting all patient information, interventions provided, and vital signs is essential for record-keeping purposes. This is a full-time, permanent position with the following shift schedules available: Evening shift, Morning shift, and Night shift. The work location is in person, where you will be actively involved in emergency response and patient care.,
