As a Visa Counselor, you will play a pivotal role within the immigration office, assisting individuals in navigating the process of obtaining student visas. Your responsibilities will include providing accurate information, guiding applicants through the application process, and ensuring compliance with relevant immigration regulations. It is crucial for you to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of immigration policies and procedures. Your role will involve handling Student Visas, Work Visas, and Tourist Visas. You will be required to operate on a CRM tool and possess technical proficiency to handle CRM, Excel, and reporting tasks efficiently. Providing personalized guidance and support to students interested in studying abroad will be a key aspect of your role. Conducting one-on-one consultations with students to understand their academic background, career goals, and preferences will help in guiding them effectively. Your responsibilities will also include assisting students in selecting suitable universities, colleges, or educational institutions based on their academic qualifications and aspirations. You will need to explain the visa application process, including the required documentation, eligibility criteria, and deadlines. Staying updated on changes in immigration policies and regulations will be essential to provide accurate information to students. Maintaining records of student interactions and visa application progress accurately, conducting information sessions and workshops to educate students about studying abroad opportunities and visa procedures, and providing pre-departure guidance to students are integral parts of your role. Collaborating with other team members to enhance the overall student experience and achieve organizational goals will be crucial for success in this position. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 3 years of previous experience in student counseling, immigration consultancy, or related fields. Strong knowledge of visa regulations, immigration procedures, and study abroad destinations is necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications, fluency in Hindi and English, ability to work independently as well as part of a team, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude are also required. Your commitment to providing high-quality service to students and ensuring their success in studying abroad will be key to excelling in this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with day shift and morning shift schedules. A performance bonus is also included based on your performance. The work location is in person.,
