Job Description

Job Title: Senior Hybris Engineer (SAP Commerce / Java) Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, APIs, and services. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. Implement and optimize backend systems for performance and scalability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Troubleshoot and resolve productions issues. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Ability to lead and influence teams while fostering a culture of innovation. Collaborate with architects to design system architecture and technical solutions. Required Skills and Qualifications: 10+ years of professional experience in SAP Commerce development, with at least 3 years in an architectural role Extensive experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) architecture, development, and implementation. Strong understanding of SAP Commerce modules, including Product Content Management (PCM), Order Management, and Customer Service. Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong proficiency in Java (Java SE/EE) and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Knowledge of data modeling, data synchronization, and SAP Commerce integration patterns. Experience with test-driven development. Experience in one of the Version Control (Bitbucket Preferred) Experienced with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle. Expertise in relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Knowledge of caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and data modeling. Proficiency in configuring Solr search indexes, query parsers, and relevance tuning. Knowledge of Solr integration with SAP Commerce and troubleshooting search-related issues. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures. Ability to design and implement scalable messaging systems using Kafka Certifications in SAP Commerce or related technologies. Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud and its deployment models.
